My Background

Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Baylor University, and a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Certificates

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I am a certified Integrative Medicine Mental Health Professional. I am a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. I have been incorporating Somatic Experiencing® into my practice since 2015, and I have completed a Somatic Experiencing® Master Class on Anger, Depression, and Healthy Aggression with Dr. Peter Levine. I have completed all training sessions for Integral Somatic Psychology®, and my certificate for this is pending completion of required personal sessions and case consultations. I have incorporated Integral Somatic Psychology® into my practice since 2021.

Specialization

I specialize in working with trauma and trauma related mental health disorders. I have a great deal of experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, adult survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I work primarily with adult individuals who are seeking help for anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, trauma, stress-related disorders, and personal development.

How I Do It

I provide 1 hour Teletherapy sessions at a discounted rate. By not keeping a physical office, I am able to offer you services in the convenience of your home or office, while passing the savings onto you through lower than standard therapy rates. I also offer a sliding-scale fee.
